Musicians
- Steve Vai
- Steve is an incredibly influential guitarist who is nothing short of a genius. A flamboyant & entertaining performer, top notch producer, a phenomenal guitarist, composer, & cool human being!
- Joe Satriani
- Hugely talented and influential guitarist, and an incredibly nice guy as well. He literally changed the world of guitar playing.
- Jeff Beck
- This is the official site for Jeff Beck, the truly amazing & legendary guitarist. His record company also maintains a site here. There is also an unofficial site you can find here. The official site is probably the least informative of the three, but still worth a look.
- Mass Ensemble
- Clark saw this group perform at a fundraising event for the Alzheimer's Association in Chicago a while back, and says they are amazing! Not a "rock" band by any stretch of the imagination, but truly mesmerising to see and hear.
- Michael Angelo Batio
- Here is an absolutely amazing guitarist that brings new meaning to the phrase "extreme guitar playing." Voted the "Best Shredder of All Time" by GuitarOne magazine, he is fast & articulate, but you need to see his over-the-top show-stopper. He plays this two-necked guitar on which the necks go in opposite directions, and he plays both necks at once! We can't describe it, you really must see it to believe it. (There is a picture of Michael & Clark holding this guitar on our "Photos" page.)
- Shawn Williams
- Shawn Williams is a Rockford, Illinois, area guitarist that actually gets what "guitar heroes" are supposed to be about. Unlike so many so-called shredders that focus only on fast playing, Shawn writes music that both guitarists and non-musicians can enjoy. (Kind of sounds like Clark's bio... hmm...) This is his page on MySpace. Check him out here, then go see him play on the GX3 shows with Clark!
- Mark Maffioli
- Mark is another Rockford, Illinois area guitarist that understands the balance between entertaining and simply playing fast because you can. And Mark can definitely play fast, when he wants to! This link goes to his page at MySpace. Check it out, then see him on the the GX3 lineup with Clark!
